The name Endeavour is significantly mentioned twice in the history of mankind:
![]() In 1768, Lieutenant James Cook, RN, the 18th century British explorer, navigator and astronomer, set sail in Endeavour on a voyage of exploration and scientific investigation. Cook is considered to be among the greatest explorers such as Vasco de Gama and Columbus. Numerous places in Australia, particularly on the east Australian coast and New Zealand, have been named after him and his vessel. Cook would eventually claim the land in name of the British King and name the new British colony New South Wales. Which is also relevant for our company because the Dutch had been the early discoverers of what we now call Australia and New Zealand. Sighting it for the first time in 1606. ![]() The second notable Endeavour came about in 1989 when American President George Bush announced the name of the new space shuttle orbiter vehicle as Endeavour, after Captain Cook’s historic ship. The space shuttle Endeavour was delivered to Kennedy Space Center in May 1991, and flew its first mission, highlighted by the dramatic rescue of a stranded communications satellite, a year later in May 1992. We believe the name Endeavour best represents our company’s spirit and philosophy. We strive to create additional value to our clients by providing them the highest quality tailor-made services. We are always happy to look back with our clients at a finished project and feel proud of it. "One does not discover new continents without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time." 9th December 1993, Endeavour’s replica was launched as a sailing museum replica ship. This Endeavour has been recreated to exacting standards and has sailed on her own voyage around the world.
