Success stories & projects

This is a very concise description of few of the operations Endeavour Enterprises was involved in and delivered high standards performances:

Foreign company setup

Endeavour Enterprises was requested to setup a foreign ICT company at the Amsterdam region. The project included:

  • Thorough preparations of the foreign managers as for project; expectations and guidance.
  • Incorporation of the new entity
  • Registration of the new company within the chamber of commerce and the Dutch authorities
  • Finding suitable office location, including negotiations and guidance
  • Recruiting of new employees, search, interviews and providing local labor contracts
  • Searching and finding key suppliers such as: lawyers, accountants, insurance agents, real estate agents, ICT providers etc.
  • Issuance of working & living visas for expatriate managers
  • Assisting the new company with all bureaucratic difficulties and complications along the process
  • Initial coaching of administrative functions in the new company.

Endeavour Enterprises accomplished this project successfully, taking the burden of the setup efforts off the shoulders of the foreign managers, enabling them to concentrate on their sales.

Interim management

Endeavour Enterprises undertook the assignment of a CEO interim management for the period of eight months as the CEO of two multinational ICT companies located in the Netherlands. This assignment was characterized by the turbulent times these two firms were facing when their CEOs left and the firms needed to undergo a major change. The change included relocation of the firms, dismissal and recruitments of employees and complete setup at new location. The difference between this project and the ones that Endeavour usually perfumes, was associated with the fact that Endeavour was requested to manage the companies in addition to the migration process.

Business development in the Dutch Legal industry

Endeavour Enterprises has developed a unique customer survey for one of the biggest law firms located in the Netherlands.

In the current slowdown in global economy, legal firms, as much as other professional services, are facing a major problem in keeping their revenues level. Sales simply do not exist in this industry due to business ethics regulations.

After reviewing the industry specific characteristics, Endeavour’s team decided to start from the basic and developed a unique customer survey, dedicated to the legal industry in the Netherlands. The survey shed light on the customers’ legal preferences and consumptions patterns.

The survey and its gathered information are enabling Endeavour to plan and execute the second phase: monitor a change process in the firm, implementing marketing concepts and change service level patterns.

We believe that the legal industry in the Netherlands will change significantly in the coming few years and we will strive to guide legal firms in leading the change process and to increase their competitive position.

Project management: Construction

Endeavour Enterprises was allocated the mission of planning and managing a total renovation of a building containing hotel and a restaurant. The project included the missions of:

  • Planning the project under extreme time pressure
  • Searching and contracting professionals
  • Managing the daily work on the site
  • Commercial setup activities:
    • Advertising,
    • Selecting and recruiting personnel
    • Setup initial operations

In general, we state that proper planning prevents the need to improvise, however, since Endeavour received the project few days before renovation work started, the company found ourselves in a very short and tight planning rang, managing to plan forward for few days only in terms of, personnel, materials and contracting. The amount of improvisation Endeavour were required to demonstrate, was far beyond the one we usually recommend in a healthy management process, but it was necessary to accomplish the mission and it was done successfully.

Sourcing

Endeavour Enterprises was hired to locate various suppliers, namely in the iCT and professional service sectors for international clients. The search indicated a high level of involvement and understanding the clients’ needs and specifications.

Interim management Tourism Industry

Endeavour Enterprises was called in to perform an interim management project of setting up management and company’s operations in a medium sized company active in the tourism industry. Main aspects of that project were:

  • Processes: Setting up and optimizing the main business processes.
  • HRM: Preparing Job descriptions, employment contracts, house rules, and periodical evaluations
  • Suppliers: Selecting proper suppliers, negotiating contracts and establishing working relations and workflow with them
  • Marketing: Creating a marketing plan for the company’s activity, defining strategy, sales targets, segments and means of advertising and promotion
  • Sales: Setting up the sales and reservation system and shifting emphasis towards web based sales. This shifting proved to be the key success factor of this company
  • IT: Selecting the IT hardware and software to use, determine its configuration, and integrating it to business processes.

Endeavour Enterprises N.V. entered this interim management project while establishing trust and excellent working relations with management and employees. The change processes was monitored and adjusted to the peace of the company.

Few weeks after the project started, a major upgrade in company’s performance was measured together with increase in satisfaction and motivation of employees.
